VASE FROM JAPAN*****

This vase was a gift from my Mother-in-law , when she visited her daughter for the first time. My sister-in-law stays in Japan.

I love this vase because of its colour , i dont like something that is pure white i prefer the cream shades to the white . I feel that cream has is own charm and warmth it makes the piece, may it be a fabric or decorative piece very attractive to look at...

look at the flowers so intricatly made , i never keep anything in this vase i feel that it looks good all by itself..

IMITATION JEWELLERY*****

INDIANS LOVE TO WEAR JEWELS.....

You will find that Indian love to wear big chunky jewels , offcourse most Indians wear traditional outfits and so these jewels really match with the attire...

Personally i love to wear imitation jewellery which is not very expensive but still looks very
pretty, The above pieces i purchased about a year back.
Last year i worked as a teacher for a school for 6 months , as you know working women usually love to dress up well and are in search of something to dress themselves up which is within their budget . gold and silver are such exotic items and in recent times the market value has gone so up that its impossible for a normal working class person to go and buy such jewellery and so for those who love to dress up have jewels which will match their dress have to go for imitation jewellery which is cheap and beautiful..

Going back to my teaching job , there was this lady who came to school once every month probably when the salary had just reached the hands of the teacher... She would bring such good looking earring and braclets that in a day she would exhaust her whole collection. Good business....
If given a choice i would wear different types of earring and braclets , i dont care much for the other types of ornaments.

LIMOGES BOXES.....

Friends ,
I have said that i get a lot of inspiration from many fellow blogger who are like minded...

I had no idea that the box which i use for my everyday wear jewelery was called a LIMOGES , when i was going through this lovely blog ,you can check out  this post on Cynthia's blog .This  made me take some pictures for your perusal so that you read it and comment on what you think about it.
Isn't it a lovely box and i have already gifted many to my friends and family. The pieces of jewellery that you see in the picture are very reasonably priced and they are not in pure gold .
Indian jewelery is very attractive and you will find real intricate craftsmanship in gold and diamonds.

LITTLE LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTER.....

I am sorry friends for not writing on this blog for a very long time now ...
The main reason for my absence being that i did not travel much in these last couple of years and hence not been able to click some nice and exquisite photos to share with you ...
In the last few months i have been reading a lot of blogs which are written by lovely bloggers who love to collect vintage things and also share them with us through their beautiful blogs.
I get a lot of inspiration from such blogs and it makes me feel very nice and cozy when i see these blogs and hence I have decided that this blog will now have not only some exquisite photos but also photos of things that i love to see around me and which make me happy whenever i see them,
When we learn to see beauty in the little little things around us it gives us lots of pleasure and then we know that life is not only about money or gaining something it is also about learning to appreciate small things in our life and enjoy them...
so hence forth this blog will have these little things that make me happy .. I will like to share these things with my friends and also encourage those who read my blog to look around them and see if you can find things around you, the things that you use everyday the things that you do everyday and the things that you touch everyday..
share your pleasure and make others realize what life is all about...
I hope you enjoy my journey of the LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTER....
